Israel has had a season of relative peace this last year and I know as a result I have not prayed for Israel like I should. Thank you for the reminder in the choice of this beautiful song.

Happy New Year to you as we celebrate the 1st Sunday of Advent.

Beautiful! I prayed for “the peace of Jerusalem” one time when I was a young mom with three toddlers after a frustrating afternoon. I was really praying out loud for myself. It was the first thought that came to my mind so I prayed it. My 4-year-old looked up at me as we began to eat dinner. “Mommy, where are the peas? I thought you prayed for peas?” Oh, I’m praying for that peace today!
