As I participate this week in Houston Project, my heart is burdened by many needs that aren’t resolved overnight. As is God’s usual way, I show up thinking I’m the one serving, and I end up being the most blessed of all. I see miracles each evening as we show the love of Christ to children. I also see hungry souls, children who need love, and I see smiles through breaking hearts. God protect them and bring them to You, for Your Son’s Sake. Amen.

I cannot believe how Isaiah has become one of my favorite books of the Bible. There are so many treasures found within it. This is a beautiful verse and a wonderful reminder that He loves and cares for His people. Enjoy the day!

What a great verse to memorize this time. You are such a compassionate friend and I’m sure you are blessing so many this week. What a great project you do every Summer! You inspire me to want to get more involved and think about others!
    Love you,

Welcome to my writing home.
This is the place where I gather my thoughts, my faith, and the quiet wonder I find in everyday life.

Here you’ll find reflections on God, truth, grace, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments. I write about faith that wrestles and trusts, joy that grows even in hard seasons, and the deep goodness of paying attention. Through honest words and gentle perspective, this blog is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and see life through eyes of hope and gratitude.
