After reviewing yesterday’s post, I think I missed the main point, so all those words to say this: Choices can be good, but if your focus is grounded in heaven and not on earth, there will not be the struggle, the secular versus the godly, the little versus the much.

For in one choice, we can have more than if we had all the other choices. Our daily struggles can be simplified with a few pointers, but our ultimate battle is a heavenly one. To choose Christ, our hearts must be focused on heaven and not on earth. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” In Christ, we find abundant life, not overwhelming us. In pursuing His Heart, He reveals where true wealth of riches and satisfaction are, all wrapped up in one ultimate Choice.

    Annie,
This post reminds me of the fact that God gives us choices and tells what to choose:

    Deut. 30:19
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

We have life through our redeeming Savior, Jesus Christ. Because He lives, we live. Like you stated He is our “one ultimate Choice.”

Oh my–I’m starting to write a complete post. Thank you for this thought provoking post.

I do find abundant life in Christ

    Blessings in Christ–

Annie, You have really opened a can of worms now! Ha Ha When you are Christ Conscious in your decisions, to the secular world, you appear to have a false consciousness, and many times you will appear to that culture as crazy or ignorant. You really need to be in His word daily to stay on course. When He calls you to something higher, the road gets narrower, each time. Make sense?
