testify

Bless His Name with me today. Giving Him some mighty praise for so many gifts, most especially this baby, marked as His Own from the beginning of time. I am awaiting an update this morning, but all is well. Nothing short of a miracle has happened so many times. and we add another fall-on-your-knees thank you to the God Who is so much greater than any of our trials.

Still singing,

annie

today’s update from his mom: October 16, 2007 at 01:04 PM EDT
What a great night!!! We had a very successful night with no issues. He slept all night long and woke up this morning at which time they took him off of the breathing tube. He is now resting and breathing on his own. He looks good and the doctors all say he is doing extemely well. God is so good to us! Thanks again for your prayers!

  1. I was reading in 1 Samuel last night about Hannah’s intense desire to have a child and her heartfelt prayer for the Lord to give her one. The last two verses of chapter 1 struck me as a message appropro to CJ and really to all our children.

“‘For this boy I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of Him. So I have also dedicated him to the LORD; as long as he lives he is dedicated to the LORD.’ And he worshiped the LORD there.”

Hannah knew who the creator of all children is and she asked Him to bless her with a child, then when He did, she followed through in action and gave him back to the Lord who he belonged to anyway, and was just loaned to her. What a lesson for us! May we dedicate CJ and all of our children to the LORD as long as they live……which means our lives lived with integrity and honesty before the Lord as an example to our children.

  2. Annie, the good news update we have been waiting for. Sorry, tried to leave a comment a couple hours ago and B wouldn’t let me!
So happy for little CJ and family.

  3. Thank you for your continued prayers, Annette, and friends. As far as his recovery so far, it is textbook perfect. He’s not too perky or happy yet, but doctors are happy with his progress. I am overwhelmed with God’s grace and mercy toward us. Jesus loves the little children and beckons them to come to Him. I know He loves this precious life and my prayer is that CJ will always belong to Him and glorify Him with his life.

Praising Him for all He is,
    JeanM
