’tis the season

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. —Romans 12:10,11

Britt, a graduating high school senior, and son of a blogger friend, Bev Brandon, is helping orphans in Thailand this Christmas with the help of others. He’s asking for $10 donations to sponsor 123 children and commit to pray for them by name. His sister, Brooke, is a missionary and works as a teacher in the orphanage in Chiang-Mai, Thailand.

He is surprising Brooke with this for Christmas, so if you can and feel led, go over to Bev’s blog, “Keep on Believing” and read “Pick Me.” These beautiful children will touch your heart. And may the Light of Christ shine brighter this Christmas because of His love in your heart.

And these are the girls I am praying for. Please take a moment and pray with me for Supatra, Isatha, Sunaree, Arba, Saranya, Chanikan, Jampee, Malee, Arisara, Suchada. If you can’t say their names, it’s okay. God knows.

  1. Annette, can’t thank you enough for posting this…we have 108 sponsored so far…15 more to go…so it really looks like Britt will reach his goal of 123 orphans cared for…thanks to people like you who have spread the word. Almost all of the sponsors have come from bloggers. Unbelievable. Hard to believe I have known you for so short of a time and feel like I’ve loved your a lifetime, so drawn to your heart……so intrigued……so invited…….and I can’t thank you enough for that. Enjoy every minute of your special weekend!
