along the way

First, I present to you the first fruits of our labor in our garden. There were five, but only one made it to the car and camera. We have quite a bounty of veggies to look forward to, so I’ll save that for a later post.

We hit the road this afternoon kind of late and saw entire fields of blue and red, purple and gold. The bluebonnet is our state flower, so I tend to focus on it but it was a spectacular array today of His handiwork. We also saw a family of deer in a clearing, so God was showing off a bit for us today as we went to the ranch. It never grows old. I still am excited to see such magnificence and warmth in the renewal.

And finally, we have a family of three little kittens and a mama living in the ranch house. It has presented somewhat of a problem, but they are so cute.

How wonderful! I didnt realize it was a video until I read Angie’s comment. You certainly are technical savvy.

Welcome to my writing home.
This is the place where I gather my thoughts, my faith, and the quiet wonder I find in everyday life.

Here you’ll find reflections on God, truth, grace, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments. I write about faith that wrestles and trusts, joy that grows even in hard seasons, and the deep goodness of paying attention. Through honest words and gentle perspective, this blog is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and see life through eyes of hope and gratitude.
