The Christian music group Selah has my heart. Especially after Friday night. Todd Smith sang “It is Well With My Soul” just a few weeks after they lost their baby daughter Audrey. (three hankie alert–I don’t cry easily and I sobbed.)His testimony was never more powerful yet so tender, as he sang of a victory and the gift of life, even in loss. Only God.

Worship Him today with song in triumph and thanksgiving. Your battle has already been fought and won for you.
He loves you so,
annie

    Such a powerful post.

I could not decide whether to leave a comment yesterday or not, and decided to leave it today.

We are waiting on some news that may be life changing and devastating in the natural realm.

I woke up Sunday singing It is Well w/ My Soul. I decided to see what music you had posted…and there it was…It Is Well With My Soul…what confirmation…

Oh my goodness. I just went over there and read her blog post for yesterday. I don’t even know what to say. I can’t imagine. I’m just so grateful they have Jesus! I need to pass this on to my friend Hannah who also lost her baby girl. I can’t think of a better song this morning!
    Love,
    Angie xoxo

Welcome to my writing home.
This is the place where I gather my thoughts, my faith, and the quiet wonder I find in everyday life.

Here you’ll find reflections on God, truth, grace, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments. I write about faith that wrestles and trusts, joy that grows even in hard seasons, and the deep goodness of paying attention. Through honest words and gentle perspective, this blog is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and see life through eyes of hope and gratitude.
