nothing like a good friend

On one occasion, Peppermint Patty said to Marcie: “I’d like to read this book, Marcie, but I’m kind of afraid. I had a grandfather who didn’t think much of reading.”

She continued by saying, “He always said that if you read too many books, your head would fall off.”

Marcie responds, “you start the first chapter, and I’ll hold onto your head!”

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, “What! You, too? I thought I was the only one.” – C. S. Lewis

    I love you more!

  3. A touching post – many bloggers have held my head (and hand!)over the past year ascending the mountain.Thank you for your friendship – someday we’ll meet.

  4. What a great post. Thanks. It’s not easy to find someone who will have your back etc. I am thankful that my husband and I are friends, we’ve become better friends through sharing work and the hard time that has gone on. My daughter is my friend too, I am blessed. I am also thankful for some of you that I have “met” on the internet and consider you friends and sisters in Christ. You are a sweet sister in Christ and always speak to my heart in your posts. Blessings on your day….Mary Lou
