My best “keeping cool tip” is dive into the pool.
Favorite leisure trip in the summer is our cabin on the lake . . . if it’s cool outside. Cabin has no AC and summer humidity can be awful. But a cabin on the lake, it’s really sweet.
Thanks for the contest

My favorite summertime leisure tip is to do something creative that you enjoy outside! We spend so much time couped up inside during the winter months, or at our job, or doing our everyday chores, that when it is nice outside, the sun is shining and it is balmy and warm outside, we have no business being inside! Take something you are passionate about, a creative project you have been wanting to do, and work on it outside on a blanket either in the sun, or under a tree in the shade. You will be surprised how relaxed you will begin to feel, and you will feel yourself becoming grounded and revived. I enjoy painting my clay pots with fun, whimsical designs. I bring about 6 pots outside, with all my paints, and I have myself a little party painting my pots. I get started with just a few simple designs, and after painting for about 20 minutes I feel all my stress leaving my body and the creativity just begins to flow – I end up with these wild, funky pots that everyone admires when they come over! You get a real sense of achievement and confidence when you do something creative like this in an environment you are comfortable in. BTW – I have been wanting an iPod Shuffle for the longest time now! I am going to keep my fingers crossed on this one! Thank you for such a fun giveaway!

My favorite summer time leisure is spending outside with my family.
laying on a float in the pool
My eyes seem to get pretty tired in the summer, with being outside, hayfever, etc. I like to read, but in the summer I use a lot of audio books. Audiobooks are much more bearable in the summer.
An ice cream sundae and a long walk on the beach at sunset
Where I live – it’s so cold in the winter, we avoid going outside. Summertime just means: Go OUTSIDE and enjoy! Thank you! cguill888 at yahoo dot com

Take time to enjoy your own home. Have a family BBQ, sit on your deck/patio, watch the birds…
Well this is a little different…but I’m begun to exercise on a daily basis for a few months now and I love the feel. It feels so relaxing when you are done to drink cold ice water, run a wet rag around your face, and then lay somewhere with a big ceiling fan blowing on you. Aw…plus your looking fabulous! lol (well not me yet!) Thanks
We have a little shaded place set up in the back yard just next to the woods. It’s closed in on two sides with a tin roof. I have a picnic table back there. Sometimes I take my laptop or a book out back and just enjoy the peace and quiet. If it’s a bit hot I’ll take a fan with me. Hubby ran me some power back there. Am I spoiled or what? 🙂

Okay, with all these comments about ice tea and hammocks, I’m going to look like a total nut.
But I have to be honest, my favorite summertime leisure activity is to go see the summer blockbuster movies in an air conditioned movie theatre and them go out for ice cream.
I don’t really like being out in the humidity with the mosquitos.
I’d rather sit in the dark and watch The Dark Knight with a box of Milk Duds on my lap. Sorry.

Last summer tip from me:
Never “agree” to wear a heart monitor in 95 degree weather. All that adhesive tape makes for some uncomfortable, hot moments. Ick. And you can’t wear little clothing. Otherwise all those wires poking out of your chest might scare small children.
In this hot weather it is nice to do some mall shopping where the air conditioning is cranked up high!!!
cjnedrow@gmail.com
Holy-moley, roly-poly! This is amazing! My favorite thing to do is take homemade sorbet and race down to the beach before it melts! Freeze any kind of fruit overnight and then thaw for about an hour until just cutable. Blend it until smooth! Sugar and fat free! Thank you!
My summer leisure tip is to get up early, get your errands done when it’s not as hot, and then come home and relax in the air conditioning during the heat of the afternoon while drinking some sweet tea!
My email is lollypopperz at gmail dot com

rinking iced coffee
my favorite summer tip – go jump in the pool – do some yardwork – jump back in – then, of course, a big glass of fresh lemonade with lots and lots of ice.
Favorite summertime leisure activity is making a watermelon basket with the kids. First we take a watermelon and carved out the primary basket shape and then the kids each get a melon baller to start emptying out the body. After that we make cantelope balls to mix with the watermelon. Put everything in the frig to get it nice and cold and serve it later with homemade pineapple ice cream. Absolutely delightful.
Make some lemonade with sparkling water for an extra kick

khrissylee28 at aol dot com
I love just taking time to step back and enjoy the longer hours reading or walking outside.
radiationchic(at)hotmail(dot)com
Seek out and buy homegrown tomatoes. Try to find old fashioned one, not the modern hybrids. The old varieties have far more flavor. In them you will find the taste of a country summer, no matter where you live.
My favorite summer beverage is iced coffee. I make the coffee a day ahead, keep it in the refrigerator and the next day I add ice cubes, milk, coffee syrup. Cheaper than Starbucks! 😀
I like Iced Tea with a sprig of mint, and a nice lazy day in my hammock.
I love to go to the East End of Long Island in the summer. There are so many fun places, like Lavender by the Bay, a beautiful lavender farm in E. Marion NY and of course the Candy Man for home made chocolates. I also LOVE that little place called LUNCH aka Lobster Roll on the south fork that has the BEST lobster rolls anywhere. Do my outside chores early in the morning or late in the evening. The rest of the time, I enjoy the A/C!
I think this is my 3rd or 4th shameless entry…
My tip is to slow down and enjoy it with your kids or just sit and watch them enjoy it with a cold beverage in hand!
I always try to jazz up my summer drinks a bit. Even a mere slice of lemon on the side of a frosty glass of lemonade makes it seem special.
here’s my advice:
1. hire hot pool boy, even if you don’t have a pool
2. ask him to make you freshly squeezed lemonade
3. add vodka
4. enjoy!
Thanks for the awesome opportunity!

Summer tip #2: My skin gets dry (even in summer!) Last summer, my friend brought back some amazing lotion from Paris. I was thrilled when L’Occitane opened a store here. So, if you have dry hands, try their Shea Butter hand cream. (they also make it for feet.) Good stuff!
The key to surviving summer- get wet, and sit in the shade, preferably at a splash pad that keeps the kids entertained.
For relaxing, it’s our cummer cottage on the lake, listening to the loons, watching the stars, and keeping an eye out for the mama bear and her two cubs. Can’t beat this for a destination.
My summer tip keep a aloe vera plant it comes in handy for all kinds of summer ouches. From the accidental sunburn to nasty mosquito bites.
I’m a big fan of package deals or all-inclusive trips. That way you pay one time and you can relax because everything’s already taken care of.

Cyclones (soft ice cream mixed with any kind of candy you can imagine, although I prefer M&M's.)My goal is to eat one of everything on the menu! Unfortunately they'll be closing for the season in about six weeks. So much ice cream, so little time. 😉
My favorite place to be during the summer is my friends cottage cause the lake is just outside the back door and swimming is the best way I know to cool off

Grab a good book, an icy cold drink, and relax in the shade or float in a pool.
Although I enjoy the fruity summery drinks, I find that they just don’t quench my thirst as completely as good old H2O. I always have a gallon of water cold and ready in the fridge so I can fill my water bottle or just pour a glass full.

I think my two favorite getaways for summer are camping in the mountains away from everyone where you are yourself and get relax, I think it is so amazing when you cant hear anything except wind blowing in the pines. Also I love to go to California and spend my time at the beach in my bikini, listening to the ocean and letting the sun warm my body. My favorite summer drinks are iced tea or classic lemonade, i make myself. And then I just chill out on my porch swing and watch the world go by. And that is pretty much how I spend my summer except for the casual softball game with my friends. 😀

Drink lots and lots of water…and use lots of sunblock!
Cold white wine on the back deck in the evenings.
Every town or city has a public lake swimming area somewhere nearby. Check nearby towns or state parks. It’s good clean fun away from chlorine. It’s back to nature and a good way to cool off.
I have a “jug” that holds two gallons. It has a push button on it so the kids can get their own drinks (or help their siblings who can’t quite get the button). I fill it with ice and tap water (no bottled water here) and off we go… out the back door to the wonderful yard we are blessed with. No searching for the restroom, “changing station” handy, gas…none guzzled, shade – in abundance, 10x10sandbox… Why in the world would I want to go anywhere else.
Happy day.
The beach a blanket/chair and a good book it pure bliss

Well, having spent two summers in Baghdad, I’d say watermelon! And always keeping a bottle of gatorade (powder mixed with water) nearby!
Those were some of my favorite times in Baghdad, sitting on my roof checking my email, eating watermelon, and listening to Norah Jones after a long, hot day of fixing schools.
Our most relaxing vacations are the ones where we don’t plan a thing. I do some research about things to do, if we want to, but we just plan our vacation day to day.

My absolute favorite thing to do is to get together with my friends (spread out all over the US) and mett up so we can all go see out band (widepsread panic) and usually we will see 3 shows, and so we all get hotel rooms at the same hotel and basically just hang out for 3-4 days together and act like little kids. I have a tough time getting my boys to sleep in past 6:30 in the summer, so I sneak into their room after they go to sleep and set their clock back! That way, I’m assured a chance to stay in bed until at least 7 – it is summer, after all!
Thanks for the opportunity!

Hi,
I love your header. My favorite leisure time this summer has been to take my sons to the little man made beach. This is the first year that they are big enough to take by myself and we have been there every week. Very generous give-away.
Gotta be the beach, always the beach!
In the hot summer, nothing is more cooling than putting your pajamas in the freezer ten minutes before bed. Strange, I know!
Thanks for the great giveaway!!
I love to sit out on our porch swing while the kids are playing. I can still keep an eye on them, but am also able to just sit and relax and enjoy being outside. 🙂
It has probably been said a million times already, but….laying out on the beach with just the sound of the waves and the wind blowing your hair into a mess of tangles has got to be my favorite of all time.
Although the sound of my little one’s laughter has now entered into the scene. Yay for living in Florida…land of sunny beaches. 🙂
We grew up really poor, with no central air conditioning and not enough money for an oscillating fan. My summer leisure tip? Run a towel under very cold water, wring it, and then place it around your neck before you go to bed. Your pillow will get wet… but you’ll feel so comfortable and cool!
P.S. Great giveaway!

My favorite summer relaxation is sitting on the beach with my feet in the ocean listening to the waves roll in!
For those super hot days, when you don’t want to run the air conditioner full blast or spend a lot of money to cool down, we go to the local splash grounds, which are completely free, and the kids have a wonderful time.
Once in a while when the kids aren’t around, I will make as many water balloons as I can, even using bigger balloons, different shapes, etc… and put them in the pool or just have wagons full sitting in the yard. They scream with excitement and its lots of fun. (Of course, it takes them about 5 minutes to bust them all).
Hmm Honestly, with the birth of my daughter I don’t think I am going to have much leisure time… That said it’s nice to sit on the porch (monitor in hand) and watch my son play in the yard and just be silly.. wiicked13[at]yahoo[dot]com

There’s nothing like lying down in a hammock while listening to your favorite music on your iPod! But add this to the mix. Take a bite out of this dessert:
Drumstick Dessert recipe
1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1/4 cup melted butter
Mix and save 1/2 cup for topping. Spread in dessert bowls or 9 x 13-inch pan.
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups Cool Whip
Mix together first four ingredients and beat well. Add Cool Whip and beat a little more. Spread over crumbs. Top with leftover crumbs. Drizzle with caramel topping.
Freeze and serve frozen.
Mmmm Good!

I don’t like the heat or sun, but I do love a trip to the coast. Living in Maine we have some beautiful coastal areas. So we pick a day when its a little cloudy and head for the shore for sightseeing and a lobster dinner. ( If its a not so perfect day it cuts down on the tourists)!
We haven’t had time to take a vacation, but we do sit on our balcony every morning and every evening to watch the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

My favorite summertime thing to do is to get outside and have fun, like I used to as a kid. Play with the hose, jump into the kiddie pool, just keep active and cool.
My best advice is to relax under a shady tree with a glass of lemonade and a good book! Thanks!
My favorite summer tip is to slow down and even try to take an afternoon nap. Thanks for a great contest!
What a great giveaway! I love the FL rainy afternoons curled up on the couch with a good book. Summer Sisters is one I seem to read every summer.
Find a pool and just lay back and float for a while!!!
cjnedrow@gmail.com
I won’t bother you with another tip on this, my second entry. Wow – all the comments!? Holy cow!!
What a great giveaway! I love to read Karen Kingbury in the summer – I’m a teacher, so this really is my summer vacation! When I read her books I don’t want to do anything else…but it’s OK because I can always finish one of her books in less than 2 days. Thanks so much!
Grilling burgers out by the pool.
mgoss@bobgoss.com
I love a cup of homemade lemonade–freshly squeezed lemons with a bit of lime and agave nectar to sweeten. Poured over ice and sipped while watching my boys splash in the kiddie pool.
Alcohol free pina coladas are my favorite summer beverage. They keep me cool!
My favorite summer past time is relaxing in a comfy lounge chair with a good book and a cold drink in hand.
Lots and lots of A/c!!
My fav leisure tip is taking a walk by the beach
One of my favorite summer things is sitting out in the evening about 7:30 when it starts to cool off and watch my son play baseball. It feels so wholesome and small-town America. It can be sweltering all day but about that time a breeze usually comes up and by the time the game is over I’m usually chilly –a welcome change!
Our summertime hangout is at my parents house. They have an inground pool. Add a cold Pina Colada & your fave Jodi Picoult book, and you are set! 🙂
Make homemade ice cream then eat it so fast you get brainfreeze.
I love cucumber water. Slice up a cucumber and put it in a pitcher full of water and ice, it’s so refreshing!
A strawberry juice pop and a book. cdziuba@aol.com
My tip would be SUNBLOCK no matter how hazy or cloudy it is!!

I love this iPod!
My favorite activity is just finding somewhere cool to beat the heat!
I love the beach with an iced coffee!
jasonncaryn at yahoo dot com
yum! brewing coffee 2x as strong, adding TONS of ice and splenda, and sticking it in the fridge(i know a lot of people think the cold shock is bad for the taste, but i have had no complaints)
i do it before my morning routine, to have a pitcher of iced coffee all through the day! it saves TONS of starbucks money.
WOW! Your blog is sooo popular! Okay this is my first time to your blog and my first time to do the Bloggy Giveaways!
My favorite family vacation/getaway is Disneyland. Everyone in my family loves going as do my husband and I! We go for 4 days/5 nights which is perfect for a restful, full of fun vacation! We use RideMax (have for the last three years) and get the most out of our time there.
Blessings,
Lucie

Another tip is an oldie. Store toner or flower water in the fridge and spritz on your face and body when the heat is unbearable.
Look for free activities – I figured out that the local kiddie pool is free to kids under the age of 5 and if the parent is just watching them play they get in free! So everyday we lather up with sunscreen and I get some color while he stays cool in the pool!

My favorite summer drink is lemonade, I know it is not something new and interesting but,my family loves it.
brninaz at yahoo dot com
I love to relax outside in the summer with a big glass of iced lemonade and a good book to read.
Seattle can get pretty sad and wet during the winter months, but I’m always so thankful to live here when summer rolls around. It never gets too hot and on those rare days when it does get into the 90’s there are so many lakes that we can enjoy.
I guess my tip would be, “Move to Seattle”! 🙂
I love to drink sweet ice tea, and wait for the sun to go down, and the temperature drop, so we can go on our family walks.
I find drinking water with crushed ice is a great way to cool down. That is if you don’t have a pool nearby.
I like buying a carton of blueberries and a cantaloupe, slicing up the cantaloupe, and mixing them together in a large bowl. Easy, fast, cold breakfast for the next 3-4 days. Also great with a small vanilla yogurt mixed in. Yum!
Lemonade is my favorite summer beverage. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

swimming at the pool and if we can’t get to the pool, put the kids in a cool bath with toys. 🙂
I like to lounge on the bench swing out back while the kids play in the pool. I usually have raspberry lemonade and a well-loved book.
Until the fighting/splashing/wasps start. Then it’s back to the couch. 🙂
Don’t be ashamed of your ghetto pool (the bath tub). Sometimes it is the only thing that will keep you and your kids sane on a immensely hot day when you just don’t want to go outside.
My tips are always green so mine are to keep curtains closed when it’s really sunny to help keep out the heat. I hate it because I love sunlight but it’s been over 100 everyday for over a week now here and so it must be done.
Well, I’ll be honest here, it used to be a country drive, by myself, windows down, music blaring.
This summer it will be a leisurely walk, minimal clothing, and perhaps a new ipod to sing along with?? That would certainly help me get my much needed alone time to cool off and relax!
My favourite summer leisure activity is going to the beach for daily walks. I’ve been doing this everyday for the past two months!

My summertime tip is to have the whole family take a nap! We all are on the go all year long… It is nice to relax and take it easy. Everyone could use a nap!
This sounds so hokey but sitting in the yard when it’s almost dark, swatting mosquitoes and watching the kids catch fireflies…there is just nothing like it. Throw in some sweet tea and it’s summertime nirvana!

Limes were on sale the other day, I tried making some lime-ade, wow it was so good, now that was a relaxing drink. Thanks for the giveaway!
We wait all year long for summer to hit, so we can get our boat out of the garage and take many, many trips to the most awesome lake in northern California: Whiskeytown Lake! Unfortch, all the fires up here have dampened it a bit this summer, but I’m sure we have some great lake days coming up! 🙂

My favorite summer leisure activity is the end of summer anniversary trip that my husband and I take without the kids.
Summer air conditioning for your body, get a cheap plastic spray bottle fill it with parts water, fresh mint and lemon rind shavings, spray on your face to keep cool and spray on your feet after walking across hot sand, it’s nature’s air conditioner!
My favorite leisure tip is taking a book, a cooler full of iced water bottles, my hat, my suit, and my lounge chair to the pool. Swim alittle, lounge alittle, spray more sunscreen on and repeat!!! Even better is to go after supper when no one is there.
Well, Pinot Grigio is right up there with my favorite summer beverages. But I’m also a big fan of iced chai lattes. I make them at home though; Starbucks charges too much!
I love to get up early and sit outside before it starts to get warm and sticky. Makes me glad to be alive!
take the kids outside
For the summer I love to make ice pops for the kids using fruit juices. All you need are paper cups, a favorite juice and popsicle sticks. So easy and economical and the kids love them. Especially since you can personalize them to each child’s taste.
cherierj(at)yahoo(dot)com
our summer is so short here so I try to enjoy my yard and flowers as much as possible
A nice glass of lemonade, sitting on the patio with hubby. Always a nice way to relax!
Nothing beats a hammock in the shade!
We live close to the coast so our favorite way to beat the heat is drive to the beach!
With this heat in Georgia and the gas prices, my favorite summer break has been good books and a comfortable couch in a quiet house. With some salsa, chips and diet coke of course!! Joy, Bitsy
You should find a nice soft sofa, snacks and a hi-def tv. Enjoy

a nice glass of pomegranate lemonade from trader joes is wonderful for a warm day.
My favorite summer beverage is sun tea that I make with a combination of green tea and Lemon Zinger and then I add pomegranate and lemon juice. It’s yummy!

Nothing says summer in the South like sweet tea or lemonade (fresh-squeezed). I suggest a tall glass of one of these, your favorite book, and head out to the back porch, but not in the afternoon. How about early in the morning or late in the evening. To make it even better, spread a quilt on your porch swing and curl up on it, swing slowly, read, sip, then start all over again. Sounds good to me!! You try it.
BTW, I’d love to win either of these prizes or…both. Thanks.
You are having a wonderful giveaway drawing. In the summer, I love to eat a fresh tomato on a sandwich from my 90 year old dad’s garden. There is nothing like a homegrown tomato. Please enter me in your delightful drawing. Thanks, Cindi

Well, I don’t know if this counts as a favorite (though we’ve always tried to make slushies of some variety) but we just made the easiest slushies ever and we’re definitely going to keep this up for the rest of the summer.
In a blender, blend one kool aid package, 3/4 c sugar and 1 1/2 c room temp water until everyhing is dissolved. Add ice and blend and add ice and blend until the blender is full. Serve in a cold glass with a straw – YUM!

Lake Tahoe, because it’s close and always cooler than our house, or the local river, shallow and wide for splashing and cooling off. Thanks for a chance.

My favorite summer tip – let the kids run through the sprinkler and ‘accidently’ get wet yourself! My boys love it when I pretend that I don’t want to be wet and they get to move the sprinkler around so that it ‘gets’ me. It’s fun and cool – and gives the neighbors a good laugh too 🙂
Thanks!

A really good series of books to read is the Katie Chandler series by Shanna Swendson (Enchanted, Inc., Once Upon Stilettos, Damsel Under Stress, and Don’t Hex With Texas). And shopping is always great, even if it is just window-shopping inside. My favorite store is Target!!

My tip would be to fill your freezer with prepared (home made) foods before the heat hits. For instance when I buy meat I bring it home, mix up marinades and package everything up for the freezer. Then all that I need to do is pull it out of the freezer and put it on the grill. When going to the cabin I also wash and prep all of my produce so all I have to do is assemble things at supper time. It really allows me to be able to relax as everyone else is…although it is a lot of work leading up to the “event”.
This is a great giveaway!

mmm summertime tip?Let’s see.Spend a lot of time at the beach and if you do spend time in the sun don’t forget to apply suntan lotion.
love going to the beach!
We don’t do anything too fancy. We like to take a picnic lunch to the local splash park. It’s free, and the kids get to cool off and also enjoy the playground. We also sometimes let our son “wash” the car. He has a special sponge and everything. He mostly just sprays water everywhere but he has a great time doing it.

My favorite summer leisure is book reading, This summer, m y fave was the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers.
Well, this isn’t probably very environmentally sound, but in the summer I buy disposable plates and cups and we use them all the time. In fact I am the cup nazi. If I see someone reaching for a cup that has to be washed, I make them put down. I don’t have a dishwasher, and this way I get to spend more time outside, and less washing dishes in the kitchen.

Sweet tea, love the giveaway
I love drinking mojito’s made with my own fresh garden mint, while sitting on my porch reading. It’s the best way to cool down and chill out after a long hot day.

My favorite summer time thing is having hubby grill out! He loves the outdoors and loves to garden…I’d rather stay in the a/c…so he cooks a lot in the summer, plants and waters the garden (neither one of us likes to weed…maybe one of our girls will like to eventually??) and then I get to do all sorts of food preservation…with the a/c on! I do it as a hobby, not so much to save a lot of money! Love your giveaway!
I live in the Palm Springs area where our average summer temperature is about 115 degrees. My favorite thing is to escape for weekends! We either go down to San Diego to stay with friends or up to Big Bear to stay in the most wonderful little cabins (http://www.big-bear-cabins.com/) that are super clean, have kitchens and are pet friendly!!! Each of these places take 1 tank of gas (10 gallons) in my Honda round trip – so well worth the 40+ dollars for 3 days and 2 nights of coolness and fresh air!!
Lots of sunscreen and my favorite place to be in the summer is along the Outer Banks! I would so love to win this prize. Thanks for the chance.
actsm@hotmail.com

I love going to the Outer Banks in NC. It’s so relaxing and peaceful!!
I love sitting by the pool reading-so relaxing!!
My favorite summer beverage is sparkling water (nothing fancy, just the store brand) mixed with sugar-free flavored syrups (like Torani). Coconut is my personal favorite!
When it’s really hot we all put on our bathing suites and sit together in our large kiddie pool. The boys think its the best that mommy and daddy are in it with them and we get to stay cool.
My favorite summer leisure activity is sitting on the beach with an all you magazine or a good book. We’re headed there on Saturday, and I can’t wait!
Let the schedule go….. dinner doesn’t always have to be on the table at 6:00
gkstratos@yahoo.com
Favorite summer tip! Ice cold water, and a trip to the beach!
I love an ice old fountain diet Pepsi, a baby pool for my feet (and kids!), and a magazine!
whit Temps in the high 90’s right now ..my tip for summer is … grab your Kids,Hubby ,Bathingsuits and head out to the Lake or pool 🙂 and dont forget the Sunblocker !
Swimming at the beach and limeade…mmmm, but probably not at the same time…
tornem (at) yahoo (dot) com
My favorite summer trips are just going to our state park. The kids enjoy being outdoors and exploring, and we all get a break from all the hectic schedules we usually have. No video games, no TVs, no technology, just pure, peaceful nature.
Ice Cream. We have a family summertime tradtion. Each we we buy and try out a new flavor of ice cream. Not only is it a good way to cool off, but it’s also a lot of fun. The kids love it, too.
We only go out in the morning and drink lots of iced tea!
Hit the beach for some cooling water and remember to pack the cooler with ice cold drinks too, thanks for the contest
My best summertime tip is to run away to a bed & breakfast with hubby. Sit on the balcony with a frosty beverage and just enjoy being.
I have a lot of migraines in the heat. So here is my tip: air conditioning, cold washcloth on forehead, and classical music.

Hang out at the pool with a margaritta.
Send the kids to Grandma’s house for the summer!
katiekarr at gmail dot com
We are less then two hours away from Galveston, so the family piles into the car for a day out at the beach once every two weeks or so.
It’s not all lounging around, as we usually pick one educational/fun thing to see or do on our mini trip.
My summertime relaxation tip is to sit under our table umbrella with a great book while the kids swim in the pool or play with water guns. (occassionally they’ll squirt mom to refresh her. lol) Thanks so much for this giveaway.
Summer tip: spray on sunscreen! It’s the only kind I buy any more. Also, if you’re at the beach, sprinkle some baby powder on to get the sand off if you need to re-apply. A great summer read I am really enjoying is “The Other Boleyn Girl.” Thanks for the great giveaway!
Yesterday I let my 3 year old daughter wash her toys. I had a big empty tub outside with some dishsoap squirted in it and let the hose trickle and she played for the longest time “washing” her toys.
lots of backyard pool time for us….oh and icey pops!
Keep you freezer filled with Popsicles! My kids love Bluebell Rainbow Pops. Good Stuff.
I love to eat nice chilled ripe watermelon. YUM!
3janbabies[at]gmail[dot]com
I love to visit my parents house; we get a pool to cool off in, a swing for baby to play in and lots of good family time!
My tip – get to know your local library. They always have the best summer beach reads and they are free. Also if you need somewhere to take the kids it is a good place to chill for a little bit.
I need this something awful
The swimming pool is how we stay cool. It is hitting 110 degrees on a daily basis around here and the pool is the best way to handle the heat!
In the summer my favorite thing to do is sit by the ocean and read! LOL..i call this time…MOMMY TIME!
We don’t have air conditioning in our home here in north Idaho, because it’s really only hot enough to need it about 6 weeks of the year. But those 6 weeks can be sweltering to get through. It does usually cool off at night, so we use fans to pull the cool night air in through the windows. Then in the morning we close the windows and drapes to make the house dark and keep the cool air in. It really does make a difference!
I love relaxing with a glass of something cold to drink on the porch swing in the evenings.
I love a good mister fan in the summer (those spray bottles with a little fan attached to the top). I hang out in the shade with a cool drink and a good book, and my kids spray me and fan me with the bottles. It’s like being a cuke in the produce section of the market!
To keep the house cool, make sure the filters on your air conditioner don’t need to be replaced and clean your refridgerator coils so it kicks off less heat.
Freeze juice pops and sit out on the patio and watch the sunset.
Our favorite, is just taking a drive in the evening!
I love frozen grapes in the summertime. They are a nutritious low calorie treat for us diet conscious people
I invested in a really great Adirondack chair that is super comfy….I had been coveting this specific chair for 2 years now, but didn’t think I could afford it. Now I know I couldn’t afford not to have it! What a dream to sit outside and watch the kids play in this comfy chair.
My leisure tip is lots of summer reads, and a quiet shady place with no phones, I can read and pass the day in a very peacefull spot Thanks
My favorite place is on the hammock inside our screen porch, with a glass of sweet tea beside me, the ice cubes tinkling as they melt in the heat. A stack of books is good to have, too.

If your near a river that has tubing, get out there and enjoy yourself!
I love going Canoeing on the Russian River in California.
Sweet Ice Tea, a good book and the kiddie pool in the backyard, LOL!!
Summer Tip….watching lightning bugs and sipping sweet tea. That is what relaxes me…the simple things.
My favorite trip had to be the one I just took with my husband for our 10th anniversary. We stayed at a beautiful b&b on Lake Ontario. Simply geeorgous and sooooo relaxing!

I love ice tea and a good book in the morning! Swimming in the afternoon and “game time” with the family in the evenings. I love the summer.
Favorite tip is to enjoy your kids before you know it they are older and you can’t turn back the clock. So we like to do special things with the kids visits to the zoo and park. Thanks
katie_mmartin at yahoo dot com.
We open our windows at night to let the cooler air flow through the house. Then we close them up quick in the morning.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I love sitting outside at night by my little waterfall, watching my daughter as she races by on her bike, and enjoying the summer evening air. It doesn’t hurt to have a glass of limeade, either. 🙂
I like to go for a dip in the pool after picking berries or veggies on our farm.
Great giveaway!
We’ve started sleeping with a cool mist humidifier to add moisture to our hot, dry air (and keeps us cooler).
tvollowitz at aol dot com
What a generous giveaway! Hmm, tips for summer…I make lots of ice tea sometimes with a little fresh mint and we love to go to the beach and pool!
My favorite summer location is the lake! Skiing, swimming and watching my kids on the tube! Well, I think I’ll just go do that now!
Thanks so much for your generosity.
~Kimberly
I recommend sitting in the shade, preferably in a hammock, with a nice tall glass of limeaide and a good book…I love anything by Terri Blackstock. Thanks!
oh oh oh ! pick me!
I love to get out the hose and let my 15 month old go crazy. It is so much fun to watch him truely enjoy himself that I forget about the heat.
Recylce your water bottles, fill bottle 1/4 water, sweet tea, or lemonade and freeze. when your ready for your drink fill the rest of the bottle with the liquid form of your drink that when when it melts it doesnt water it down.
My favorite way to relax during the summer is sew. I feel so much more creative in the summertime, for some reason, and I could just sew all day long.
bigfamily8(at)yahoo(dot)com
My best tip is to use Avon Skin So Soft so the bugs stay away! My favorite summer leisure activity is to lie on my hammock, reading. A slice of pie and a glass of lemonade is always nice, too!
Thanks!
urchiken at gmail dot com
I avoid caffine in the heat. Caffine holds the heat in your body.
We love to make our own Popsicles out of fruit juice. Just freeze some juice in a popsicle mold (or even small tupperware or a paper cup), insert a stick, and freeze!
Thanks for the giveaway. claireroach81(at)hotmail(dot)com
My best tip is to take a water bottles for the kids and yourself with you everywhere you go. Thirsty kids become very grumpy.
I love the shuffle- such pretty blue. 🙂

There’s little I love more about summer than a good, yummy melon, a sunshiney day, and a green lawn to go barefoot in, except having family around me to enjoy the day, the flowers and the little birds singing.
I am a country girl who sorely misses her garden, so sometimes I’ll sit on the back porch looking over to the mountains and look at my garden books and dream of a place of beauty and plenty…someday, perhaps, again. 🙂
Best tip: avail yourself of the wonderful Farmers Markets this summer season! cdziuba@aol.com
My best summer leisure tip is to have some sangria at least once during the hot summer!
num1twinkie at yahoo dot com
hhmm..let’s see…I would keep a small bottle of ammonia handy at all times…use it to neutralize ant, bee, hornet, wasp and scorpion bites.

Keep your freezer stocked with Otter pops! Yum
I love waking up on a summer morning to a fabulous and healthy smoothie for breakfast.
1 c. yogurt
1 c. ice
1 banana
1/2 c. juice
1 c. berries
So yummy and refreshing!
Grab a glass of sweet tea, Go outside (preferably barefoot, but flip-flops would do) and find a swing in the shade, and watch your children run through sprinklers. For me, that is one of those moments when all the world is right…I just sit back and count my blessings!
Thanks so much for such a fun giveaway!
Take Care!
sblilly14(@)yahoo(.)com
The best way for me to relax has always been to be at the beach and relaxing on the sand. I love the sound of the waves cascading into the shore. There is nothing like the sound of the ocean to help you relax.
With a 2 & 3 year old, I sit outside, pour peach tea and wade my feet in the kiddie pool while blasting kids music…yes, not so adult entertaining but the kids love it and as long as they are in good moods, the world is good at my house 🙂 Happy summer!!!
brittanygodom@yahoo.com
I love to take a drive up to the mountains when it gets too hot.
Always cool up there.
We love our sweet tea! We like to stay cool by filling up our sons kiddie pool in the back yard. He loves splashing around in it and we love watching him and being the recipients of the splashes! llwoolard@hotmail.com
My summertime activity–reading outside while my kids play in the pool and on the trampoline. So relaxing!
parcelhome at comcast dot net
Taking your kids to the waterpark is one of the best ways to have fun and stay cool in the summer…we had so much fun this summer! 🙂
Here’s my sweet, short comment. 🙂
Read Read Read. There’s nothing more relaxing than reading a good book!
My favorite summer thing to do is to walk around the house and look at my gardens. Maybe do a little deadheading, pull a few little weeds, harvest a little basil. I like to walk around in the late afternoon with a glass of wine or lemonade (depending on how the children behaved that day!) and just look at things. I’ll watch the birds, and the butterflies, and sometimes we’ll even see turtles or toads or snakes. The kids all get a big kick out of it, too!
Thanks for the chance to win!
To relax in the summer I love to go camping. Nothing like sitting around with a bunch of family and friends, swimming..eating..playing cards..eating…did I mention that?
lol
Being outdoors is very relaxing.
palmersf(at)bellsouth(dot)net
I guess a tip would be to not cook in the summer heat. We eat lots of salads over the summer to keep from heating up the kitchen. Add in croutons, boiled egg, cheese and meat. YUMMY!
I think riding a horse on the beach has to be the most freeing summer adventure I have had. The breeze the sound of the ocean and me hanging on for dear life.
It is so hot here in Texas that I pack up my son and take him to the mall. They pay for the air conditioning and I get to browse all my favorite stores. Plus I get a coke and an Antie Anne’s pretzel.
LOTS of homemade iced tea. Today I’m making some mango iced tea. I like to sweeten with fresh juice (or non-HFCS juices) instead of sugar. Since we’re in FL, that’s pretty much all you can do some days!
I get overheated easily so I rub an ice cub on my wrist when I get too hot. It instantly cools me down.
Crossing my fingers!

Ice tea, ice cream and a trip to ARUBA!! ahhhhhh…
It is hot here in Alabama, 92 at the moment. So I had rather stay in, sipping a glass of ice water or sweet tea and computing! Sitting here in my easy chair is leisure for me!
I relax in the summer by letting the men-folk barbecue!
Yesterday it was 104 here in Dallas. The way I kept cool (7 months pregnant) was laying on the bed with the A/C down low! 🙂 I also love to go to the pool and hang out in the cool water!
I’m a fan of our pool membership this summer – it was SO cheap compared to paying for $$ for a few trips – and even an hour in the afternoon allows for a fun little trip 🙂
I would have to say the kiddie pool. We got a new one with a slide, and there is enough room for me and dh.
http://www.yourcouponbuddy.com
Sun and I don’t agree so its in the shade, stretched out in the hammock, watching all the birds cluster at my feeders. Just adda little breeze and I am set for the afternoon!
I wish I could go to the beach EVERY summer. We are going in a couple of days and I can’t wait. I have a total love affair with the ocean!
Thanks for offering such a wonderful giveaway! Have a great week!
Well let’s see…our family goes on a long walk (so we feel healthy) to the ice cream shop! 🙂 Fun for everyone!!
And I would LOVE to win the shuffle…I just started running again and that would be the perfect way to keep running a little bit longer!!
Thanks for hosting!
I love taking my Boxer Babes to the dog park in the early morning. They romp and play, and I walk for exercise.
Get to the beach somehow. It’s amazing what a difference it makes. Even with kids who normally can’t occupy themselves, you suddenly relax and the kids magically find sand and water fascinating for hours.
set up the hammock in the shade, take out a drink, a book & a hat – eventually fall asleep. Sigh. I should go do that now!
I like to sit in the shade and relax with lemonade! Thanks for the giveaway!
ticole96(at)msn(dot)com
One “beat the heat” summer leisure thing we do is put the AC on for about an hour, close the curtains to make it dark, make some popcorn and have a “family movie – NIGHT” but during the day. The kids love it because it gives them something to do that is cool and fun.
Another fun thing is the get those water guns and chase each other around with them (or even a hose). Or blow bubbles in the shade and have a picnic.

My tip would be at the beach with a big umbrella a comfortable chair, a good book and a ice tea or lemonade.
Just remember the sun screen. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I just love day trips to the beach. I live near Lake Michigan so it’s only 20 minutes away. I find it very relaxing to watch the boats go through the channel, and sitquietly and read.
pianananna@gmail.com
Favorite leisure tip…ice cold fresh lemonade. My recipe – 1 cup honey to 1 cup warm water. Add to 8 cups cold water and 3/4 – 1 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Add ice and enjoy! LOVE IT!
I love to keep body sprays in the fridge. It feels so good after being out in the hot sun. charkey@sbcglobal.net
I totally recommend the Roman method. Basically, keep your house shut tight all day long (doors, windows, curtains, etc.) When the heat drops and the sun goes down, open everything up and run any fans you have to move the hot air out and the cold air in. Then shut everything tight again and your house should stay cool since the cool air is trapped in there. It works really well for me.
I love a day trip to the beach. Not that we’ve done that yet this year, but we’re only 2 hours away. Other than that, summer to use is hanging out in the yard and letting the kids have Otter Pops.
My advice: Starbucks Venti passionfruit shaken tea with melon syrup, sitting by the reservior under a small awning, and watching the toddler discover sand!
It’s bliss.
Wow an Ipod! How cool! My favorite summer drink are frappaccinos from Starbucks! Thanks for offering these great gifts!
My favorite summer activity is to just be around home outside while my 16 mo old daughter is playing! We are a busy family so to be home is fun!
I really like iced tea in the summer — however I’m originally from Canada – so our iced tea is not like the American Iced Tea – Generally ours is like a powdered drink mix and much much sweeter — yummy!
I’ve been having a lot of fun inventing new popsicle recipes. My favorite so far is coconut / banana.
Thanks for the chance to win!
e are doing my favorite summer activity today…going to the fair!
Oh my and ipod and Target GC . great prizes. Lets see, in the summer I use a ginger mint air freshener spray. It can also be used on your body and the one I use, Ginger Mint, is a great pick me up when I start to wilt in the heat.
I love to hang at the local water park.
Our favorite way to stay cool this summer was enjoying home made strawberry ice cream on a very hot day!!
Frugal Carol
I love laying on the beach. Or just being in the water on a hot day on a floating raft of some kind. (just make sure to slather on the sunscreen!)
I love limeade and I love air conditioning. 🙂 My two big stay-cool secrets!
Great giveaway idea!
My tip would be to hand over the kids to the hubby and lock the door and take a nice long cool shower.
Stormy5475@aol.com
Take your dog swimming…
a magazine, iced tea, and a hammock.
OR iced tea, porch swing on the farm.
Having a picnic at a beach is one of our favorite summertime relaxing activity.
Summer here is hot…120 degree-dry heat-hot! So my idea of the perfect summer is getting out of the heat! I love going camping in the mountians, where despite the pesky mosquitos, I can find the time to just relax and read and do a whole lot of nothing.
What a shame that I couldn’t make the time for that trip this year. Instead, we just stayed in the house…A LOT!
We love to rent a beach house and stay for a week. It’s so nice to walk down the street and relax on the beach (and read lots of good books).
emmarleed[at]hotmail[dot]com
Hm…..relaxing in front of the fan, maybe watching a movie and sipping something limey and fizzy.
thanks for the great contest!
Read a book outdoors in the shade with a glass of ice tea! A good book??? The Scent of Lilacs OR Troublesome Creek!!!
what i would do is stay inside with a pitcher of sweet tea and a pile of good books! please enter me!
I avoid the outside like the plague! I have AC, though, so it is pretty pleasant in my house. No bugs, no heat, I’m good!
Listening to lectures on the cd player while crocheting. Indoors! Where the air conditioning is!
My favorite thing to do in the summer is curl up in the shade in the lounge chair with a good book and some iced tea or country time lemonade!
elkmeese (at) yahoo.com
Less clothes, more liquids, and a spray bottle of water for misting yourself.
My favourite tip is to get up early and get things done outside before the heat hits (this may be less useful if you live in town, but we have a lot of things that need to be done around the farm). Then you can nap or go swimming in the afternoon.
ikkinlala AT yahoo DOT ca
I don’t do well in the heat so my favorite way to cool down is to stay in the air-conditioned house! That and lots of cold sweet tea!
How sad. My favorite summer leisure trip might be Target.
Lots and lots of bubbles!

My favorite summer leisure activity: swimming!
Sitting in a beach chair, reading a good “beach book” and drinking iced cold lemonade….or in my reality, sitting on a beach chair when I’m not chasing my crawling son or filling up his water buckets 🙂 Still fun though!
My summer tip is hiking and enjoying God’s creation :).
Please enter me in your giveaway. Thanks! serving_theKingofkings@yahoo.com
My tip for summer fun is sprinklers, sprinklers, sprinklers. I went to the dollar store, and got about 5 different kinds of sprinklers, hooked them all up in the backyard and had a “sprinkler party”! My kids thought it was a blast!! And the whole thing cost about 5 dollars!! My boys ran around out there until they were delirious!!
one of my fav summer drinks is a mojito. there is a cuban place downtwon in my city that makes delicious mojitos. for relaxing destinations i would say the mountains. we went to the NE Kingdom in vermont a few weeks ago and had a really wonderful time. cheers vera
Great prizes! We love to visit Honeyman State Park in Oregon…it has the best of so many outdoor options…sand dunes, freshwater lake, and the ocean. A great family destination.
michelle at northofthe49 dot com
Since the beach is too far away (3 1/2 hours) for a reasonable day trip, and there are no local watering holes in my neck of the woods, one of my fave things to do during summer is let the kids play with sidewalk chalk to their hearts’ content and then wash it away with the garden hose. They get to be creative, we all get wet and cooled off, and the “canvas” is fresh for another day. 🙂
Here is a summer time tradition that my neighbors and I started a couple of years ago. We take turns helping each other with our flower gardens. The planting, weeding and cleanup is much more fun when you have a couple of helpers.
purehrt555(AT)yahoo.com
You are so neat to do two give aways….my only tip since I live in the mid south that is under a heat advisory is to stay inside with a/c on and the fans and to sip on sweet tea and water too. Blessings…
good ole southern iced sweet tea!
We love a trip to the Lake for a boat ride!
Iced Coffee and Air Conditioning…my favorite summer things…:)
♥ Melissa~

My favorite summer leisure activity is camping — especially around our beautiful state, NH. We have mountains, forests, wildlife, warm days and cools nights — it doesn’t get better than that in summer! I recommend NH to everyone (summer OR fall)!
My favorite leisure thing to do this summer is…
Reading a good book on my porch glider with a big glass of iced tea. It is made perfect if it isn’t so hot and there’s a cool breeze!
My best summer tip is to dunk your feet in the kiddie pool while drinking a mint lemonade. MMM!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to win either of these.
I really enjoy capitalizing on the downtime of summer–lots of reading, lots of late mornings in PJs.
We love to make homemade ice cream. I got a bowl to go on my Kitchen Aid for Mother’s Day. Thanks.
We live in Phoenix, so really the only way to stay cool here is to stay inside with the AC on.
Strawberry smoothies and a baby pool! Even sitting in water belly deep is relaxing! especially in the evening when the kids are in bed and it’s a little cooler. 🙂

Cool evenings on the porch or mowing the lawn just before dark.
My best summer tip? Write it down! Summer goes by so quickly, you might forget what a great time you had if you don’t immortalize a few moments here and there. Thanks for the chance! 🙂
My favorite leisure tip, grab a few good books and find some shade or an air conditioned house. It’s a great time to read.
My favorite beat the heat tip. Geat a wet wash cloth put in a ziploc, freeze for a few minutes and take with you on the go to put on your neck to cool down.
We hang out in our basement during the worst of the heat.
My favorite thing to do is spend lots of time at the water park or pool with my 3yr old son. He loves the water and loves to swim.
Bridget
I love to sit under the umbrella on our porch with a good book, while my girls are exploring the backyard.
My favorite summer leisure activity is soaking in a bubble bath with a glass of ice tea, candles, and a very good book.
Just take a trip to the beach–Myrtle Beach–with your family. Enjoy sitting under an umbrella and watching your 2 year old graddaughter play in the water and sand.
My tip is to so your yard work early in the morning before the heat sets in. I love to be outside in the morning because the birds are so active and everything smells so clean and fresh!
My favorite place is the neighborhood pool. I go there and read and soak up the sun, it’s great. I’ll definitely miss that come Labor Day…
I would have to say that I tremendously enjoyed my trip to Huntington Beach, NC. It’s below Myrtle Beach and not even close to as much traffic. Actually it was Huntington Beach State Park. Check it out..spend a week there!! It’s great.
My tip?
Enjoy the pool…..often ;0)
Air conditioning and lots of it! lol Seriously. I am not an outdoor in the summertime person.
My best summer tip: Always have a lawn chair in the trunk of the car. Also, keep an old sheet or table cloth in the trunk to be ready for an impromptu picnic at the park with the kids.
My favorite summer time drink is peach ice tea – YUM! Thanks for the fabulous giveaway and please stop by mine as well:

My favorite leisure time activities in the summer are reading books and watching my kids in the pool! Just relaxing!!!
I LOVE lemonade in the summer, and also home grown tomatoes (not in the lemonade). My mom has blueberry bushes (just a few, she is in the suburbs) and my son loves picking the berries.
My favorite trip ever was visiting Amish country in Lancaster, PA!

There’s nothing special to it–get a lawn chair, plop it under a tree and watch my J playing on the lawn 🙂
Make sure to go barefoot as much as possible. There is nothing better!
My favorite summertime thing to do is to have a cold glass of Pepsi and sit on the swing on the verandah with my baby. Doesn’t get much better than that!! 🙂 Thanks for hosting this giveaway.
My favorite thing to do in the summertime is to freeze lemonade and then throw the ice into the blender for a nice cold treat,
Summertime? Stay cool with a very powerful Air Conditioner if you live in the Houston heat and humidity! Love your giveaways.
My favorite place to be in the summer is on the beach on Cape Cod. There’s nothing like the beaches there!
My favorite summer vacation has been to go whitewater rafting in the Tennessee mountains; the weather was cooler at the higher elevation, and the rafting was a blast.
I leave my Vita-Mix front and center all summer and make 3-4 smoothies for the family a day…helps keep cool and I slip spinach in there undetected.
I also use it to mix up stuff for homemade popsicles.

Since I’m a working mom of three kids, my favorite summertime trip is the 100 yard walk to our neighborhood pool. Involves no car rides, extensive packing, and we get to sleep in our own beds at the end of the day. Top it off with some raspberry sorbet after dinner and we’re all happy.
One of my fave things to do this summer is swimming in the pool. It keeps the kids entertained too.
Lemonade!!! On a hot day it is perfect! Thanks for the great giveaway!!!
One of my favorite things to do during the summer is hit up the beach, but while I’m there I like to get up early in the morning and sit out on the deck or balcony by myself and just take everything in. It gives me time to reflect on God and all the wonderful things He has done and created. I love it! Thanks for a great giveaway!
My favorite summertime drink is Fruit Tea. I make a quart of tea and stir in 1/2 C. sugar til dissolved, then pour it all into a gallon-sized pitcher. I add one 12 oz. can of frozen OJ concentrate and two 12 oz. cans of peach nectar, and add water to equal one gallon. Delicious and addictive!
Thanks so much for the opportunity to win such an awesome prize! Bless your heart for being so generous!
um- well I am not sure my tip will be as wise, or fun as some of the women before me.
What do we do- we love the beach. It is inexpensive, you pay to get there, but your bring lunch with you, stay the hold day, bring a good book you had been dying to read, stick your feet in the sand- and relax with the sound of the beating waves in the background. (that is summer to me!)
What fun- I have never won anything- but it sure will be fun trying!
Blessings

I am GONE 4 days to a swim meet and come back and there's a whole carnival going on!!!!
My heart is beating real F A S T RIGHT NOW—a SHUFFLE???? My shuffle is full. My summer leisure tip>>>>>
DRINK 64 oz. WATER by adding lemons and stevia (nothing artificial about it) or add powdered measured Propel packets in your purse to bottled water.
Restores the life to your face!
My husband is a coach and the pro on Saturday said during the summer we need 90 oz of water a day! Also you could add an ounce of straight cranberry juice from Wal-Mart so that your water is NOT BORING!
My summer tip – either have a glass of lemonade as I read or a eat a lime Dreyers Whole Fruit bar while I read. At this time of year, I sit out early in the morning and watch hummingbirds chase each other.
Have a great day!
Love, A2
a summer tip a day. hmmm. Today’s summer tip would be to be sure and visit your local farmers market during the summer. (If you’re like me and don’t have room for a huge garden. Or the dogs won’t let you have any sized garden!) You might find some lovely blackberries there and make a delicious cobbler!
love you,
karen
it gets so hot in mississippi this time of year that we’re all pretty much housebound until the sun goes down. A great way to spend your indoors time is listening to all the new music artists on download.com.. free and legal. i like to make cds for friends, family and burn kids music for my daughter!
My best tip for you is that a glass of iced tea and listening to Pink Floyd while sitting under the window unit sure makes summer so much more pleasurable! I want that Ipod shuffle for my Hubby! He would flip if I gave that to him!
