Two weeks ago, our pastor, Dr. David Self, gave a sermon which I am still thinking about and praying through. Below is four minutes or so from that sermon. If you would like to hear the whole thing, it can be downloaded or listened to here. Also, check out sermon_080308.pdf, especially page two, for the notes on the sermon and a pictorial tabernacle prayer walk. May you be blessed this day as you prepare your own heart to be His sanctuary.

Welcome to my writing home.
This is the place where I gather my thoughts, my faith, and the quiet wonder I find in everyday life.

Here you’ll find reflections on God, truth, grace, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments. I write about faith that wrestles and trusts, joy that grows even in hard seasons, and the deep goodness of paying attention. Through honest words and gentle perspective, this blog is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and see life through eyes of hope and gratitude.
