My blog friend, Annette H. lost her dad yesterday after a long illness. Please hold them up in prayer today, especially for her mother and for Annette as they mourn, but not as those without hope. Visit her blog and send her love from her sisters in Christ if you get a chance today. This was a prayer offered in her comments: Jesus, We are told to weep with those who weep. I weep today for my sister in Christ. Touch her Lord. Give her an extra special sense of Your presence. May she have a peace that passes understanding. Lead her through these next few days with Your everlasting arms around her. I know You will Lord for You have promised to do just that. There is nothing that can separate us from Your love. Your love binds us all together. May she be truly comforted with the truth that one day she will see her father again and never have to say good bye. Thank You for our assurance of life everlasting. Thank You for our hope that is You. I ask Your blessing and a special touch of love and comfort upon my friend. Amen.
I’m praying. Lord, I praise You for I know You know all things that we need. Lord, I ask You to comfort Annette H. and her family in this time of grief. Lord, I pray that pleasant memories flood their soul. Lord, I pray that You meet all their needs. I ask the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, to comfort this family and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. Lord, I pray and ask You put people in their paths to share encouragement in the days and months ahead. Lord, I thank You that You hear our prayers. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you dear friend. I woke up about an hour ago, left some people out of the obituary, will see if it can be corrected for the Saturday edition of the Houston Chronicle.
We have chosen beautiful music my father loved and will choose the Bible readings today.
Except for my mistake with the obituary, things are going smoothly.
Relatives begin arriving tonight. Some are staying at my house and some at the Hampton Inn a few minutes away.
I love you!
Annette H
Thank you for telling us! I will go over there when I get my laptop instead of this iTouch. I’m praying.
Love, Angie xoxo
