siesta memory verse 20

It’s finally here. My little soccer playing, basketball sinking, angelic singing, beautiful Lindsay will become Mrs. Andrew Barnes in a little more than a week. I can hardly believe it. I’m so nostalgic the past few days. My sweet neighbor saw Lindsay’s dress and she started it–the first of many deluges, that is. She got teary eyed and immediately mine followed. She knew my heart and I knew hers. Wasn’t this our little five-year old? Isn’t it too soon? But no, indeed the years have flown, and every thing under heaven has its appointed time.

What a day to celebrate His mercy over us, to trust Him for our future, for their future;  for our passing the torch to another generation to go forth in Christ, in His Strength, in His Grace. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. And bless this marriage as a strong three-fold cord in Christ! Amen.

    karen

  2. Oh myyyyy. My heart is full, Annette. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your memories with us. Beautiful treasure. Love you so much.

  3. Tears…
What a strong foundation you and Mike gave her to begin this next season of life as a wife. I’m Praying for you, Mike, Greg, Lauren, Andrew and Lindsay this week, that you can all “Be still and know…” and take in every single detail.
I can’t wait to see you!
    Love,
    Angie

  4. Annette, this is so beautiful. The marriage of your children is such a bittersweet event. Enjoy every minute of the wonderful day ahead of you.

  5. This is a keepsake of high value as you chronicle God’s amazing Grace and Mercy in the lives of the Geffert Family.

I am so excited for this new adventure for everyone and know it will be exactly as God Himself as ordained as Lindsey and Andrew as well as Annette and Michael have purposed this very blessed event in such an amazing setting on your Texas Country Property.

It truly is the LORD himself who makes a way for such blessed events to happen in our lives.

I pray Grace and Peace as you move into this week before the wedding for you to experience and feel all that God has purposed for you on His agenda.

    By His Grace,
    Sylvia V.

  6. What a beautiful walk down memory lane. What a blessing that will be for her to have and keep and for you too. I pray your ankle is completely healed. May He answer all of your prayers for her special day. May He answer your prayers for her new life. Blessings on your day and the week that is to come and thereafter…Love, Mary Lou
