As is typically the case, my memory verse this time is chosen from where I am in my walk with the Lord. As I look through the year’s selections of memory verses, I could tell you generally what was going on in my life where those Words of Old ministered to my heart.

Today’s one of those days I need to be smarter than I am. We need a healthy dose of His wisdom and words to convey our fierce love for a family member, to convey our concern, to convey His Love and direction for them. The good news is that the Lord promises always to answer that prayer for wisdom in James 1:5, but this one from the Psalms spoke to me as a promise from a friend.

Welcome to my writing home.
This is the place where I gather my thoughts, my faith, and the quiet wonder I find in everyday life.

Here you’ll find reflections on God, truth, grace, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments. I write about faith that wrestles and trusts, joy that grows even in hard seasons, and the deep goodness of paying attention. Through honest words and gentle perspective, this blog is an invitation to slow down, look deeper, and see life through eyes of hope and gratitude.
