gone hunting

I had a surreal experience this weekend at Gander Mountain in a sea of camouflage. Men in hunting jackets and army green baseball caps were lurking behind every hunting garment rack, while others openly sported shotguns in boxes with sporting clays like they were natural appendages to their arms. The whole store was decorated in camouflage with many exotic animal trophies in their “natural” settings high above the shoppers for display. Before I knew it, I had misplaced my husband, so I started walking down each aisle to no avail. Finally, I decided to position myself in the main floor aisle and wait like every good hunter. I think there’s a reason all of the salespeople have to wear safety orange vests. I’m not kidding. Just weird …that’s all.

Never been to that store, but I totally understand the camo thing.
