I always hate those icebreakers that ask, “If you were a lipstick, what color would you be?” or the famous Barbara Walter’s question, “If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?” I don’t know. I don’t know. Do I have to pick just one?
But I still fall for it. The house doesn’t smell like gingerbread or evergreen boughs, but I took the “What kind of holiday treat are you?” quiz. So, I’m hot cocoa. Sounds kind of boring, but I like my life. Today’s my deadline for it’s-beginning-to-look-a-lot-like-Christmas at my house, or maybe next week. I’ll let you read my professional analysis after answering five thought-provoking questions, while I go get another cookie to go with the cocoa:
You are so warm and comforting that people want you around all winter long. You are probably a world-class expert at coziness and snuggling. You appreciate luxurious things, and you view the holidays as the perfect time to indulge. When you shop for gifts, you prefer buying one nice thing over a bunch of junky little things.
11% of the people who took this quiz got the same evaluation. Of course, inquiring minds want to know, so what kind of Christmas treat are you?
Annie…stopping by thru Ang Baylis, and I would love to bring the candy canes. Sounds like a great party so far!
I couldn’t resist taking a break with it too, and I hope it brought a smile. I love that we have cookies, gingerbread, and cocoa now for the party! Except you all have clean houses, so I guess the party will have to be at your home. ;)Hope you all have a terrific weekend.
Actually I’m in the midst of cleaning, but thought I would check out some blogs and found your sweet one! I’m a gingerbread house!
Okay, I should be cleaning, but instead I hopped on to take this test. 🙂 I am a Christmas cookie! I changed my answers and found I was a Christmas cookie again! They said that I would go good with hot chocolate! Isn’t that sweet? That was fun! I’m sure you are on to something that will get all around… kind of like the elf yourself did! Everyone did it after you!
I really better get serious about getting the perfect setting for the perfect dinner party! Ha ha!
Thanks for the fun!
