may I request a prayer this morning?

I love what Karen wrote this morning on Cover to Cover. ” It fills me with the Truth of His promise, “Whom have I in heaven but YOU?”

God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. Lamentations 3:22-24

I am meeting with my husband to discuss our future in his business this morning. I really need patience, compassion, wisdom, and His peace. It also is very difficult for me to be in an attorney’s office to do this–anxiety creeps in and I struggle. If you get a chance, your prayers would mean so much. I assure you I have already been in prayer. I know it all works out very good, but this interim thing requires some serious trust and faith on my behalf. May our lives glorify Him and may I act in obedience to His will. Just if you have a moment…I know your lives are filled with needing more of Jesus too. May we all be satisfied in Him.

I will bless the Lord forever
I will trust Him at all times
He has delivered me from all fear
He has set my feet upon a rock
I will not be moved
And I’ll say of the LordYou are my shield, my strength
My portion, deliverer
My shelter, strong tower

My very present help in time of needWhom have I in heaven but You
There’s none I desire beside You
You have made me glad
And I’ll say of the Lord

You are my shield, my strength
My portion, deliverer
My shelter, strong tower
My very present help in time of need

  1. Annette, I’m sooooooo sorry I didn’t see your prayer request until tonight! I was in the kitchen ALL day!!!! I will pray for you now, though! Can’t hear the song right now as hubby is sleeping….will listen tomorrow!

    Love you!

    Love, Jean

  2. I know you felt His peace and HIS PRESENCE today. He was there… again in your time of need. I’m glad I got to hear this song again this evening! Thank you!
    Love,
    Angie xoxo

  3. I was out of pocket this morning, so I didn’t get to pray, But I will pray that it will continue to go smoothly. My husband just moved his law practice home and it’s a big change and adjustments, since God was in it…it’s more than fine. Loved the song you posted. One of my very favorites….it is so the beat of my heart. Glad you all got home safely. Blessings….Mary Lou

  4. Good morning Annette,

Consider it done…I will definitely be lifting you and your husband up as you have this important meeting!

I love that song, very heartfelt with all the verses from scripture…and I also love Psalm 73….one of my all time favorites…

May your day be blessed with peace and the assurance that your Prince of Peace is walking before…beside and behind you.

    Helen
