sunday’s song – come thou fount

Sundays are for worship. Prayer and praise are in order. If you have any prayer needs today leave a comment and I will pray with you through the week. It’s August 1st–so hard to believe we’re approaching another school year. Blessings over you and your families.

  1. I’m praying for my sweet friends, Annette and Mike who are celebrating 30 years of marriage tomorrow! You are such an inspiration to this girl who is trying to get it right the second time around. Thank you for being such a Blessing to me… and for always encouraging me to be the kind of wife He wants me to be. I love you and Mike! I hope you guys are enjoying your time together!
    So much love,
    Angie

    • Thank you, Angie. We’re trying to get it right, too! 🙂 You bless me. I join you this morning in praying for you and Linc’s marriage, for my own, and marriage in general. It’s always nothing short of a miracle. May we continue to testify!

  2. Beautiful song…
Annie, I want to thank God for answering our prayers about the Gulf oil crisis. He is so faithful and so good. I pray for all those who have been affected by this that God would have pre-iminence in their lives and that they would run to Him for help through their time of need.

My father has an MRI scheduled Wednesday. He’s having back pain and he is 86 years old.

And a praise this week. My sister and brother-in-law are holding their first grandchild this week. It has been five years since their own son was killed in a car accident. This grandson is like a wave of love for them…their daughter’s pregnancy was gloriously drama-free! And now God has seen fit to bless them with this new addition to their family, baby Daniel.

    • Yes, Deborah. I am so thankful for the contained spill. I’m certain we were two of many praying for our beautiful Gulf and the families whose lives were devastated. He is faithful. I join you in prayer for your dad’s MRI for healing for him and for freedom from pain. God is good to bring your sister’s family full circle with baby Daniel. Full of praises for new joy, for His faithfulness, for a healthy baby…
