Glory that transfigures you and me. As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free. While God is marching on…
Your prayers are welcome in the comments for our country, for freedom, for men and women who died for this cause. On this weekend to remember, let’s pause and pray for the lost, for the freedom that men have died for, for the real freedom that we will know one glorious Day!
We thank You for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedom. This country was founded upon Your Word and Your decrees by godly men. I pray for seeds which were sown then to be harvested now. I pray for Christian revival to come upon this land. I pray we serve You not only as individuals but as a country. I pray America is shines Your light in the world.
I ask You to pour out your comfort on those grieving men and women who died serving our country. I ask You to protect our military personnel and our country as well as our allies.
I thank You that You are Jehovah Nisi – our Banner.
In Jesus’ Name I pray.
Lord God, how I praise your Holy Name for allowing us to live in this wonderful country. You have blessed us over and over again. Forgive us for our failing to appreciate all You have done for us. May Your people repent and turn back to you, so that You may heal our land. So many men and women have died to preserve our freedom, may thier lives be honored this week end…may thier memories be sweet for thier families. Protect those who are still in harm’s way, for our sake. Give thier families Your peace and may You be glorified and honored by all of them. The freedom we have here is just a small, very small taste of the freedom we will have when we are with You for all eternity. May our country come back to You and hold you in the place of honor that You belong…You alone and not anyone else or anything else. You alone are the credit not the government for our freedom. Bless Your holy name.
Father, I thank you for the men and women who have died for freedom’s sake, for the families they left behind, for the cause of freedom itself. I thank you for the freedom in Christ we can know this day, and the Son of God who granted it.
Bless Your Name in this land where freedom is revered and enjoyed. Where we know just a small taste of the real freedom we shall eternally experience. In Your Son’s Liberating Name, Amen.
Glory to God in the highest. And peace to His people on earth.
